Names for a boy?

Ok, My DH and I had been set on naming DS#2 Robert Quinn and calling him Quinn. (shhh its a secret.. ha ha ha, nobody here knows me IRL, but I had to say anyway....) Anyway, now it seems that everywhere I turn I am reading about, or meeting girls named Quinn. So Now, I am second guessing the name as a possiblity. Our first son is Jacob so thats out. My DH is way weird about names, and it seems everything I come up with he rejects. GRRRRR but thats another story for another day. Any here are some of my current favorites, not including Quinn:
Colin, Dylan, Noah, Lucas (though my son will only say Mucas instead of Lucas), sometimes I like Micah... mostly not, though....sometimes Sam....

I am at a loss to come up with others!

Help!

Quinn is a very non-gender name, and I think it's way cool. If you are looking for an obviously boy name... I'm naming my boy Logan Vance...

I like Colin and Dylan also, or you could go with something more traditional, such as Michael, William, Theodore, Johnathan, Franklyn, Peter, Mark (Marcus), Matthew, etc.

We are still at a blank..Quinn was on our list too..

We don't want to go too tradtional. No Michael, David, John, James, Theodore, Mark/c/cus, etc, can't do Max....Caroline248, whats holding you back with the name Quinn? And what else are you considering?

I really like Quinn but I also love Lucas

Just popping to say that I think Quinn is a fabulous name. However, I consider it unisex since it is a surname. What about Finn? Either by itself or as a nn for Finnegan or Finley (both surnames though)?

I really like some of y'all's name lists!! We're naming our little boy Jefferson Carter, will likely call him J.C.

I really like Quinn and wouldn't care if there were girls named that. We named our 2nd dd, Carson, and everyone kept saying "but thats a boy name!" and I'd say thats why I liked it!

Ya, I like alot of boy names for girl names.

I think Quinn is one of the few truly unisex names, I could see it equally for a boy or a girl. I think there were a number of male Quinns born in the April DDC, right? I remember seeing the name a lot recently.

I like Quinn, and Noah and Dylan are 2 of my favorites. I've never heard of a girl named Quinn, I always have though it was a boys name. Maybe I live under a rock! Isn't it usually short for Quinten?

The little sister on Daria was named Quinn, that's the main female Quinn I can remember.

My husband isn't thrilled with it. We are considering nothing else and everything else. We really have NO idea. William maybe?? That is sort of our default, if we can't come up with anything by the time we have to leave the hospital.

Better get moving...I had my 2cd daughter at 36 weeks (that would be Monday) and my 2cd son at 38 weeks.

I like the names Nils, Dylan, Evan, Elias...

I like Quinn a lot but seems like I hear it a lot on the playground lately. That could just be where I live, though.

Glad to see we aren't the only ones who can't come up with a boys name.

Ian Alexander is our front runner and it is starting to grow on me.

but we also have....

Ethan
Samuel
Benjamin

I love Quentin and it would be my first choice but DH absolutely hates it..dang.

I think Quinn is great...boy or girl totally okay either way.

I LOVE Samuel. Hubby vetoed it. Ian is my cousins sons name, and we are close with them, si it would be weird. I also love Aiden....waaay too popular around here though. Ethan is on our "short" list (by short we are talking about 30 names).

I wanted Benjamin before, but husband hates it. Ugh.

To Quinn or not to Quinn
That is the question.
I like the name 75% of the time, but the other 25%... thats when I'm not sure.
HUsband vetoed Dylan- stupid 90210 ruined it, he says he can only visualize that Dylan- I reminded him of our favorite, Robert Zimmerman aka BOB Dylan... No dice.

I also like Sam. And Ben, though hubby vetoed that, too. I like Noah but I dont think Dh does. He suggested Linus. I vetoed that. He suggested Saxby. Have I told this story here already? I googled "Saxby" and one meaning I found was "from the farm of the short sword". Which to my preteen mind says "From the farm of the small penis..." Sigh. Obviously, I vetoed Saxby....

I like Linus although I always think of Charlie Brown when I hear/say it. But it *is* a cool name!

Kelly, we have the same middle name picked for our coming boy. Why did you choose it?
