I've been having on and off contractions since last night. They're starting to get more intense and regular now, even when I'm lying (laying?) down. I also have to run to the bathroom and poop every time I eat. My due date is two days from now, and DS was seven days early, so I'm ready! Send me ELV, please!

Well, Beatrix arrived on Thursday night, May 18th, at 11:57 p.m. 7 lbs, 4 oz. I ended up going from 4 cm to 10 and pushing in two hours. Whew! I had some moments there where I didn't think I was going to make it, but DH and my doula were fabulous. We're home from the hospital less than twelve hours later. Yay!
She's a sleepy girl in comparison to my DS, so nursing has been a little bit harder. But I think she's starting to see it as a good thing.
