Are these labor signs?

3 days til due date, rusty colored, pasty discharge (not a lot, but continuous) since Tuesday (had membrane sweep). Baby is moving a lot more than usual today. Im 2 cm dilated, 50% effaced. Has anyone had a similar experience (increased baby movement right before birth and/or rusty/pasty discharge).

I had that when I was pg with ds #2 after my midwife checked my cervice and sort of stretched it a little to see how soft it was. It wasn't even as invasive as my membranes being stripped-I went into labor five days later.
I was a little overdue though with a definate conception date-so things were probably ready to get going anyway

I don't think my babies changed their movement patterns before labor, but I don't remember clearly.

I lost my mucous plug with my 1st pregnancy and went into labor a week later. In first timers I think it's an average of 10-14 days between losing the plug and having the baby, but you can go sooner as well.

I don't know about the membrane sweep, though...since you had that done, I'd say it will probably be sooner than later for you. Good luck!

Those kinds of signs can go on for weeks. It sucks, especially when we are so excited to see baby!
But you are on the way, and things are gearing up!

Usually baby moves less with impending labor, but s/he could be settling into position, gettin' ready for the big event...
