Yes, Shana, I actually had that in my guide but had to delete it because I was waaaay over the 20,000 character limit.
Cedar balls are great. Alone, they probably aren't enough to completely protect your wool, but if you use the pillowcase method to store them, you can definitely put them inside the pillowcase with your wool as an added layer of insect protection, not to mention a wonderful way to control odors. My only caution would be that you might want to put them in a sachet, or if you're using 2 pillowcases, put them between the first and second, so they're not in direct contact with the wool, because the oil in the cedar could stain the wool over time.
Oh, and Courtney, it's a slippery slope. It just starts with one, and before ya know it, they're reproducing around you like bunnies! I won't count them, it's much easier to be in denial that way, but in all sizes, I probably have about 25 covers, and I've got 5 more balls of yarn just waiting to be knitted into something.
