Being honest, are you hoping for a particular gender? - Page 2

I *think* mine's a girl. My pregnancy is just a lot different than it was with ZZ. I also talked to a friend last night, and my pregnancy is a lot like hers with her DD, she had the same symptoms with her 2 DS's that I had with my DS.
That all said, ZZ with a brother would be cute too.

I'm hoping for another girl strictly for superficial reasons. I have a ton of girl clothes left over from 15 month old DD but absolutely NO boy clothes left over from 5 year old DS. I also don't have any neutral clothes because I'm one of those freaks who likes gender specific clothing on babies. I am so screwed financially if I have another boy, but I really won't care as long as he's healthy

I am hoping for a girl, more for my dh's sake than mine, who knows. I was hoping for a girl w/ my son, but once he was here, I couldn't imagine not having a boy, you know?? Either way, I'll be happy.

We are hoping for a sister for DD but will be just as happy with a boy! We also have a ton of girl clothes and nothing boy/gender neutral. And DD has specifically askied for a 'baby sister.' Also, I love the relationship that I have with my sister and want my DD to have the same! All that said, we are planning on three or four, so this isn't my last pregnancy nor my last chance to have a sister for DD or a son!

I'm sure I'll be thrilled with either but admit...a little girl would be nice this time or sometime down the road : )

The only reason that I'm hoping for a girl is because of the ridiculous amounts of girly cothing we have from dd1 Otherwise, it would shut my dad and grandma up if someone in the family made a boy and I'm all for that, too!

Hoping for a girl this time. We had just bought the Shettles book and were looking into O+12 (or whatever...) but then, ooops! Found out I was pg before finishing the book . In hindsight, we did everything just right to concieve a boy, so here's to hoping their theory is crap.

Another son would be fun for our 2yo though. Plus, there's always hope for the third...

Well I'm a little torn.
I have two sisters and am sooo happpy about that, and we are really close.
On the other hand the sibling rivalry among us girls growing up was FIERCE, while with my brother no one felt any competition.
So on the one hand I would love for my dd to have a sister, but on the other I think it would be easier to deal with a girl and a boy since they both sort of have their own thing going, and my dd wouldn't feel as jelous. Maybe just wishfull thinking?

I would love another little boy. But, if it's in the cards for me to have a girl, I'll be just as thrilled. The poor thing may be nameless though, DH and I cannot agree on ONE single girl name.
