What's going on? - Page 2

My poor stomach hurts so bad, everytime I eat anything it fills up with gas, even gas-x is barely helping, and I tried drinking baking soda water too. Plus I have to pee ALL THE TIME, and my back is killing me. Grrr, today just isn't mu day

All is going well here. My m/s is almost gone. I just have to make sure I don't let myself get too hungry. I can at least go all through the night without having to get up and eat something. I am 10w 5d now I think. I am really starting to show, but am still able to fit in most of my bigger clothes. My jeans are super tight after a big dinner tonight though. My next appt is still 2 1/2 weeks away. I am anxious to hear the hb!

Hi all,

I've been a little bit MIA lately but am popping in from time to time. I started school full-time! I am one BUSY lady! I'm in class 5 hours a day, I volunteer 7 to 10 hours per week (a requirement for one of the classes), plus I have reading to do and papers to write. I am swamped.

DD is doing wonderful with all the changes - DH is kind of doing the lion's share of her care and feeding, which I feel horrible for - I want to spend more time with her - but I'm dropping everything and chilling with her for the 3 hours between picking her up from school and putting her to bed every night. At least doing school now is easier and less traumatic than if I started with a young infant at home too. When the new baby comes I'll take 8 months off.

The little bean is doing fabulous I had an appointment with my OB yesterday. Heart rate is 159 and I am measuring right on schedule. I am very happy! I feel wonderful, physically. I'm riding my bike to school most days and have a lot of energy and almost no nausea. I have grown out of all my pre-pregnancy pants except one pair of "fat" pants - sigh. I am wearing maternity pants and trying to do long shirts, but I think people are starting to notice.

I decided to stick with my OB for this pregnancy (a large part of the reason is a lack of time to interview any other providers, and DH's continuing resistance to home birth). But I am getting a doula for the hospital and I think that will help quite a bit.

I haven't had a chance to read all the replies but I will soon! Hang in there ladies - we are just about DONE with the first trimester!

Hi Mamas,

Yeah, so glad to be done with the first trimester soon. That will be nice to move past that.

I am feeling good because came to the final decision to no longer seek care with the current MW group I am seeing. As soon as that decision became clear in my mind, a lot of the fear and anxiety I have been carrying with me was gone. Poof! Now I just need to find the right MW to take their place..........

Still nauseated and tired but getting better from and upper respiratory thing I have had for the past week. So glad that is getting better Starting to show a little and busted out the maternity yoga pants this morning. It will be fun when this belly gets a little bigger.

Have a great day Mamas, we are off to a friend's house today.

I am about 8 1/2 weeks now.

ND I am so happy for you that changing groups has allayed the anxiety so well.

Twilight, my "regular" clothes days are numbered, sigh.

Sharlla I hope you get some respite soon

Okay, I want to do personals for everyone, but I'm exhausted...

must sleep now...
