I was a little embarassed, but my mom and her friend threw me a surprise baby shower! This is my FIFTH BABY! I have not had a shower for every baby and i did not expect one this time, but they surprised me! It was supposed to be a mother's day get together with my parents and brother and his wife. I thought it was strange, that we were doing it in the middle of the day. We always get together for dinner, but I just went with it.
When i got there I was met by all my friends and family. What made it very special was the fact that my mom told all my friends they could bring their children. There were kids EVERYWHERE. My mom even gave each child a party gift of candy, coloring, punch balloons and other fun stuff! She gave the older children $5. We played three games and talked the day way.
I got a lot of new baby girl stuff and a VERY specail friend gave me a cute ducky cloth diaper. Another friend gave me a baby book and said that her Dh was #5 baby and never had a baby book, so this is the gift they give to anyone having a #5.
It made me feel very loved, as i am due on Saturday and feeling very tired and weepy.
