ankle pressure points?

Hi - I'm at 37 weeks, and have been noticing today that there is a point on each of my feet, below and a little to the side of my ankle bone, on the insides, that is very tender. does this mean anything? - i.e., is that the spot that people press on to get labor going? i wasn't planning on doing that - still thinking i'm working for 2 1/2 more weeks - but wondering if this might be a sign that i'm ready to "go." - ?

just thought it was odd that it's on matching spots on my feet. not from any shoes I've worn, either.

any thoughts on this would be great. hope it makes sense. TIA!!

hmmm, I'm not sure what that means, if anything. I know that when women DO use the acupressure points, they become very tender, but I'm clueless as to why it would be that way with no acupressure.

Well, the thing that started my 2nd labor was the visit from the acupuncurist who placed a needle exactly where you are talking about - labor commenced about an hour after the visit.

(The reason she came over was because my water had broken about 13 or so hours earlier, but labor hadn't started).

Maybe you are just ready....
