Hi guys.I don't know how many of you remember me, I 'm new and I became a member about 3 weeks before I was due. I wanted to update you all. I'll try to make it as short as possible. Our daughter, Alexis was born stillborn May 11 due to a uterine rupture from a previous scar. We couldn't beleive it. I had noticed her not moving the night before and went to the er. Luckily we knew she passed before the cesarean . its been VERY hard for the family. Even harder was mothers day. I couldn't take it, then on Monday, May 15th, she was laid to rest at a beautiful memorial service that I couldn't attend due to infection and fever. We miss her more and more everyday and now are healing and are working on a medical malpractice suit against the doctor I trusted to care for me during my pregnancy. I was brushed off when complained of burning in my abdome and now, we will fight back. I held Alexis for a few hours when she was and she was indeed gorgoues. Prettiest little face I've ever seen. My Alexis is in the best arms any baby can possibly be in. Gods. And thats what helps me get out of bed every morning. I still am emotional and cry everyday. its hard to go in the room that we made her nursery or to look at pictures of her. But we are making it through.Just wanted to say Thank you guys for welcoming me a few weeks ago, you all are a great group of women and congrats to all your new May babies!
