I'm not only still BF'ing my 12-mo DD (and hope to for quite some time!) - she barely eats any solids and nurses all night.

I have PCOS and always had very irregular periods so I figured I'd be on the late side to get my period back and might even have to start it artificially. So on that score I am glad to see AF. But also a little surprised.

My period has been completely normal, too. Just like it always was - normal-to-light flow, 3 days of real AF tapering off over the next couple of days.

I think it has affected my supply a bit, too - but DD is still nursing strong.

When you got your first PPAF, did your next cycle come at a normal interval? Somehow w/ my PCOS issues I just will not be expecting a "normal" cycle length. This is going to drive me crazy waiting around for my period.

This also cranks up my thoughts about when to have the next baby...although I think we have decided on a longer spacing because I just want to savor every moment of these great toddler years with DD. I'm not the kind of person who does well w/ stress so getting pg right away would not be a good idea.

OK, thanks for letting me express my random PPAF thoughts tonight!
