Taylor was waaaay better overall tonight. I'mglad Kat did whatever that first song was. I like it. Have no clue what it is, but I dig the music and sound of it, even though Iliked it the firsttime she did it better. Based on tonight's performances, I'd say Taylor's a shoe-in. If nothing else, he has a bigger following, especially his underground following. So he'll probably win. I hope the riggin' works and Katherine wins still

I looooved Taylor tonight. Had he sung both of the first songs before, like Katharine? They did not sound as familiar to me although I kinda remember the Elton John one... Weird. I LOVE Taylor. If he doesn't win, I will not watch AI again until next year. I mean it!

I voye Taylor, but hope he doesn't win because I think THEY will ruin him. But I also think the second runner up have an album coming, too. Clay Aiken did, and Bo did, too.

There was an article in the TV Guide about Bo and his stomach problems having to postponed the debut album for awhile. The article was written many months ago, so I guess Bo's album finally came out but I never heard anything about it. Bo said in the interview he had to have some kind of stomach surgery. Bo said it was from the stress of AI and how He (Bo) does NOT have any control with the album and other stuff.

That is why I say give it to KAthrine, but if Taylor is under contract already because of being runner up than Taylor deserves it!

If it had come down to Taylor and Chris I would've been torn. I LOVE Taylor. He is a natural entertainer, a great singer and close to my age. ( I must be "older")

Kat lastnight only proved she can't really sing well, and she can sit on the floor. My friend and I said you could tell she was trying to cover Somewhere over the rainbow. I can't remember the artist though. It was a while ago. SHe is a cover artist and nothing more. She'd be great for the AI studio creation. Taylor NEEDS creative freedoms.

I watched it last night later than most here (taped it and still voted, voting was open for 4 hours instead of 2), and I honestly don't see what people were talking about with Katherine being "off". She was fine. At their best, she is by far the better singer. At their worst, she is also the worst. So I think with studio time, the ability to retake songs, and the clean up that goes with every studio produced album, she will make a better album.

Also, I can't stand Randy. How do you go after Kat for her song when she didn't write it or pick it? Her third song, he got on her case about song choice! He has been doing that all season, even when she doesn't pick the songs, like last week when Clive and judges picked songs for her. And he is always the first to "oh, now you think you're Whitney" her when she sings a big song. She should be picking big songs, she actually has a big voice when it's on. Randy never said anything like that to Taylor, no, to him it's, "you picked a Bruce song and made it your own" Blech to him.

No, last night he said that she was better than the song. He acknowledged that she didn't have a choice in the matter. The "debut songs" always suck, except for Kelly Clarkson's "Moment Like This", iit was all right.

Kat was off last night. I watched it with friends, & they are verrrrry musical- perfect pitch... she said Katharine was off, definitely. I could even hear that she was off in, I think the second song.

This is because Katharine just "sings" the song. It is clear to anyone watching that Taylor is having SO much fun up there, you can just tell he eats breathes & sleeps for music. Kat might be technically good most of the time but there is just no excitement or surprise watching her. I really did like her at the beginning but about 4-5 weeks ago I think she should have gone home... the final should have been Taylor & Elliott.
