I had my first appointment with my midwife today - more with the student than the midwife (my favourite midwife) though, as the student did all the intake paperwork (medical history, etc).
We heard the heartbeat - nice and clear at about 150 bpm !!
Blood pressure was good (110/70), and everything else checked out normal.
Last week, I'd had an early ultrasound because I'd been spotting again - I'd gotten to see the baby moving around then, but they didn't have the results from my ultrasound yet though - they said that they should get them within a day or so and will call if anything isn't "normal" otherwise I'll just see them in a months time.

Hearing that heartbeat after the bleeding must have been so reassuring. Bleeding is so scary. I hope that it stays away now and you can chill and enjoy the next months.
