Big enough NB stash?

Here is what I have so far...

4 preemie Prorap covers
6 newborn Prorap covers
1 small Aristocrat's Wool Soaker
1 small Bummis SWW

12 UB preemie CPF's
12 UB preemie IPF's
12 UB infant CPF's
3 microfleece diaper liners (hoping to make lots more of these)

1 UB size 0 Kissaluv fitted w/doubler
9 NB Muttaqin fitteds

3 bumGenius! one size diapers

I didn't CD my first until she was 6 months old. I'd like to CD the new baby from day one. If this baby is anything like my first he/she will be tiny. DD was only 5 lbs at birth, so I'm thinking we should get plenty of use out of the preemie stuff. Do you think this is this enough to get us through until it's time for smalls/meds or are we missing something?

I would get another wool soaker. They were my absolute favorite for the first two weeks or so (now they're just my favorite, mixed in with some wool wraps )
You will definitely want twice (or three times) as many fleece liners. I used them for the meconium stage, and it made cleanups super easy.

I ended up loving my fitted diapers more than the prefolds I bought (I stuck with Cloth Thoughts pocket fitteds). If that's the case with you as well, you'll want another dozen of them.

Are you doing cloth wipes? You should! I'd get a few dozen. They are fabulous!

I would get more of the infant pfs. I bought 48 preemies and they fit but are hard to get onto a wiggly nb in anything remotely like a decent fit. They do work great as burp cloths/spit rags and just folded into a cover.

I've never used wool before, so I'm nervous about whether I'll like it or not. I was thinking I could use it just for nighttime and then go use the pul covers during the day. Do you think one is enough if I'm only planning on using wool for overnights or do I need a second for that?

And I'd love to get more liners. I went to the fabric store today thinking I could get some material to make my own, but didn't see anything that looked similar to what I have. I'm going to poke around in Diaper Making and see where they get their material.

For the fitteds, I'd love to have ALL fitteds, but the budget doesn't allow for it. Buying 10 just about broke the bank. I like the PF's okay with my toddler, but am nervous about using them with a NB since my folding isn't so great. Guess I'd better get good at folding quick or get used to the BF poo explosions.

And for the wipies I'm using baby wash cloths w/baby bits solution, but I don't have enough wipes for 1 kiddo let alone 2. I'm going to try to make those myself too since I'd like to learn to sew anyway

And River is CUTE! Congratulations!

Thanks for the suggestions!

I was kinda thinking I needed more infants PFs too but wasn't sure. Thanks!

DS grew so fast that for this babe, I'm going to have my newborn and small diapers all ready before the baby is born because I probably won't have time to get more (or make them) before we need to use them. I would recommend 24 to 36 of each size. I have 8 to 12 fitted diapers (for dh to use) and then I usually use flats.

For liners what I do is just buy the cheapest fleece at the fabric store. Then I just cut them to size.

It has to be microfleece so the moisture goes through them and isn't just repelled.
