Thanks ladies! And Boscopup, you are exactly right! The problem, I think, is that alot of women you have done it naturally, just assume that those of us who had meds weren't "educated" enough to know that we can do it on our own.
I do know that, but like you said, labor is different for everyone, and it was NOT these wonderful surges, as some people have.
It was the most horrible pain I've ever had, and not knowing how long it will take is hard too. I'm just glad that I got them when I did, as I always delivered shortly after having them. I didn't have to worry about the epi slowing down my labor. Unfortunatley, I just need to get over my disappointment of having an epi again..
