We signed the papers today!!!Party with me!

We signed for our 5 acres and a home in the forest today!!! We are going on a houseboat with my family until Monday and when we come back we start moving!!!!
I cannot wait because I do not enjoy in-between living...more eating out (packed up kitchen), super busy, trying to sell this home, and messy!

I took 22 month ds to the feed store today to look at the chicks, baby ducks, bunnies for fun and he was so happy! We cannot wait to start our new life. Thanks for all the advice you all give me too on animals and the like...it helps so much.

Get the book '5 Acres and Independence'. It's a fun book for starting out, will give you ideas. (BIG ideas)

We just moved onto our 7 acres in December and I too thank God everyday for our lifestyle!!!

Thanks for partying with me everyone! We got the keys yesterday (I would have been more excited but I had the 24 hour flu) :

I tried out paint colors on the wall today to find a good neutral shade of cream.
I found "white rock" to be a good color---there are sure a lot of different whites to choose from! We were going to do clay walls, but we decided to do that in a few years when we had more $$$.

I did not want to leave...the air was so fresh with pine tree smell and ds was playing outside. We hope to offically live there in 10 days.
