Does anyone know how safe/advisable it is to use a hot tub postpartum? I'll be 12 days pp when my aunt-in-law comes to visit with MIL and to see the babe and I know they'll fire up the tub.
It would feel *so* good, but I'm still healing. I had to small skid marks, the anterior one is still pretty sore. Would the chemicals be bad for this? I'm still bleeding too--could this mean I'm still vulnerable to infection/irritation?
Obviously I'm not gonna sit in there all day or anything, DD will want to nurse! I'm thinking in and out a couple of times briefly.
