I dont know about anyone else but apple juice works best for me. Also, cranberry juice is meant to "flush" you out.. so you may want to try that.

Good luck!!

Some gals in another forum have just been talking about coffee. It can get things going for some folks. So, indulge in your favorite coffee drink!

When things get REALLY BAD for me, I use the oldest trick in the book:

1 tbs. apple cider vinegar in 1/2c. warm water right before bed

Trust me, you will wake up in the morning and empty out. So much better.

I don't recommend doing this often, just when you're very uncomfortable and nothing else is working!

Lately, I'm drinking a lot of hibiscus tea and dosing it with alfalfa tincture. That seems to help keep things regular--that and snacking on raisins!

Pear juice is good to get you going. Also, you could either take soem extra Vit. C or some magnesium (if you can get it, Natural Calm is the best). Both won't hurt you, you're body will use what it needs (and most of us are all deficient in magnesium anyways), and both will cause loose bowels when you take too much.

Some extra vitamin C (if you've got emergen-C - that's always good) and yep, coffee, prune juice, etc. those are all good too...

Dried Apricots and Figs. Fig newtons are especially tasty. Yummy and keeps everything moving like it should.

First, more water. 1/2 your body weight in oz of water (ex: 200lb woman needs 100oz of water daily) Only water is water. Juice, milk, tea, soda do not count toward water consumption, especially in summer when you're pg!

Pineapple is great, as are cherries.

For more severe issues, chlorophyll or aloe juice (in small doses taken fairly frequently over the course of a day, like a tablespoon every two hours)

For me, going for a walk really helps to get things moving along. In fact, sometimes towards the end of the walk I start to wonder if I'm going to make it home in time! Just something else to try...

I totally agree w/ the coffee suggestion!! I know for me, anytime I have coffee, I'll need to use the restroom in an hour or so....
