My son's preschool teacher is going to a conference in Budapest about Emmi Pikler and her work with free sensory movement. I don't know anything about it, and a search online comes up with mostly German documents (she was Austrian).
His teacher briefly explained to me that Pikler advocated allowing infants/children complete freedom of movement and that his is neccessary for their optimal development.
I'd like to know more. Any info??
