Will this work

I am TTC but know I want to CD. I bought a stash on Ebay of mostly AIO. They are DR SWEBS??? anyhow my sister in law is using them on her 3 month old.. He is wetting through the outside.
So I took one a part. From outisde to inside it goes

Flannel Print
Waterproof Layer
3 layers of flannel
Then an insert of a couple more layers of flannel.

What I am thinking about doing is making a fitted diaper with some of the flannel layers and adding more layers to it.... then use spray on waterproofing on the waterproof layer to make it a cover with the outside flannel layer inside?

Do you think it will work????

no. You can't just use spray on waterproofing spray and expect good results.

You will need to get some pul. http://www.diapershop.com and http://www.janellespul.com are good places to find some

Oh.. the spray on stuff isn't good.. I am glad I didn't go buy some.

I "tested" the daipers for myself with water.... the water is being socked up by the outside flannel layer.. not going through the waterproff one. I just don't want to waste the money spent on these ones.

Any other suggestions would be great!

waterproof spray will work only on stuff that is already waterproofed but needs a touch up like small areas (does that make sense?
