normal that he wants go play outside with neighbour kids and not hang with me and do something right?

Ds is seven and more like that now. I agree, it's sad. But I have been trying to do something special, just him and I, once every week or two, to keep the open lines of communication and attachment going. It's hard when they grow up on us, isn't it?

My oldest son is 12, and yes, that was about the age he was done hanging out with mommy, and wanted to be out and about.

ok good, thought maybe he just didn't like me anymore I mean since when is playing cards with me not fun?
