We did this last year and I don't see a thread yet. I really enjoyed seeing everyone's gardens last year. Let's post veggie gardens as well as flower gardens and update as they blossom and grow!!

So come on mamas let's see your gardens!!

Here are some of my gardens this year:

Trellis for various bean plants

Garden box (I'm trying vertical gardening this year)

Front of the house garden bed

Another shot of the box (some plants are actually growing )

My pictures are always in my blog (the "me" link), which doubles as a garden journal & record. I love seeing pictures of other people's gardens! Thanks so much for showing us

Wow HelloKitty! That looks like a good sized garden

Stephanie, I love coneflowers, and if I can find room to squeeze some in I plan to plant some next year

I put in another bed, this one for the big squash and watermelon plants that take over the yard. I will try to get a picture tonight or tomorrow on the blog

I love seeing the garden photos! Thank you to everyone for sharing.

Yep - my plants are big right now. It is actually getting to be the end of our growing season. Plus we are close to having watering restrictions and that will make it very hard to keep most of the garden going. Another 3 weeks and it likely will be all done for the summer.

Wow, I love looking at all the photos of gardens. Mmmmmm....

OK, here are some of mine! (my dd1 wanted to pose by the pics, too. She's doing yoga in some of them )

This is the one that shows our food plants: tomatos, carrots, zukes, cukes, pumpkin, beans. The smaller patch is radishes and a few peas.

Some of my medicinals:

That's valerian, comfrey, feverfew, heal all

here's one from this afternoon:

This last one includes some of our raspberries, and the chamomile, echinacea, and a little of our neighbors' bushy citronella patch (we share the fence). You can't really see the seedlings I have in there, including lavendar and sunflowers.

We live in Wisconsin, zone 4. I am surprised at how big our toms. are already!

your pictures of cabbage have the same bug eating problem as ours. Do you know what they are and how to treat them organicly?

Finally took some!

These are my full sun pictures... the first and the third pics are on the western and southern sides of my house, respectively.

The second pic is the view from my driveway. Veggies on the left, another full sun bed on the right (and if your eyesight is keen, you'll spot a nakey baby waaaaaay in the back left )

Here are my pics

My malabar spinach (climbing spinach). It is a lot thicker now cause this pic was about 2 weeks ago.
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v1...nt/pics019.jpg

My first section. The raspberries are on the left that I transplanted. Slowly but surely they are coming back. Then I have 5 tomato plants, carrotts, lettuce and swiss chard.
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v1...nt/pics016.jpg

In my middle section I have: 4 green peppers, 4 jalapeno peppers, 4 yellow hot peppers, spaghetti squash, summer squash and red onion. The white planter in the front had a watermelon but I killed it. :
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v1...nt/pics017.jpg

And my last section has: potatoes, 2 zucchinis, acorn squash, 2 pumpkins, rhubbarb, strawberries. Along the very back of the garden is where I have my sweet peas and sunflowers.

And just a view of my garden:

All of these are from yesterday except the first potatoes which were taken last Monday.

Ignore the weeds, we just had another 3 days of rain and it hasn't been weeded since Wed.

Raspberries

Entire Garden

Peas, lettuce is between the last 2 rows of peas.

Potatoes LAST Monday when I weeded them. I have 60 hills.

Potatoes TODAY You can see the beans in there too, if it was weeded you'd see the corn. The beans and corn are in the same row.

The garden is 19ft x 35ft, not including the raspberries which are at least 10ft x 10ft if not bigger.

This is the herb section of our garden. The other garden pics of our squash and peppers didn't turn out so well. But, there are pictures of our CSA farm at http://www.flickr.com/photos/8645459...7594142334622/. We at least do the harvesting there.
