4 month appt!! yippee!

well, if you want to know why i love my son's doc, you can go to the vax forum and find out there.
and yes, this was his 4 month appt. but he will be 5 months tomorrow! (remember, he was a late baby...1/1/06).
well...i just have to post that he is now 16 lbs. 12.4 ounces!!!
wow! im so happy!!!!

and i love my sons doc!!!! he's so on board with us not vaxing, etc.!!!

(I didn't go to the four month check-up... seems I actually *had* scheduled one, but forgot... and missed it... and the office sent a message that they've had too many schedulings and no-shows, so now in order to make an appt I have to pre-pay. Can't afford to do that now.... and... honestly, I was completely terrified of voicing my choice not to vax at least for now... I'm still not sure where I stand)

I hear ya, Judy. I've decided to vax Drew on a staggered schedule per Stephanie Cave's book. Our mainstream ped is fine with it.

well, really shoudl make it clear that Ethan is 5 months today, so the 16 lbs. 12 oz. is really a 5 month weight, not a 4 month one.

Sounds like you found a great Dr. We love our Ped to, but hate his office. They are getting so impersonal, and they are always late. But he is totally on board with our not vaxing and his is anti-circ so I don't want to switch Drs. Ds went in yesterday for his 6 month appt (He is exactly one month older than Ethan) and he weighs 19lbs 2ozs. He's my big baby boy.

I forgot to say yay Ethan!! Almost 17lbs is great for a 5mo. -- all nice and sweet and yummy.
