May mamas - June Babies!

Okay, who else will now be having a June baby? My EDD was the 29th, so I had a suspicion that this babe would hold out until June. At least it will be easy to remember that both of my kiddos have June birthdays (not that I'd forget, but I'm looking for silver linings here!) My dd's birthday party is scheduled for the 17th, and I was hoping to be 3-4 weeks postpartum by then...more delegation to other people I guess. I was also hoping to attend a dear friend's wedding this coming Saturday, which I would probably do if babe were a week+; however, it's two hours away from home and I'm not going to chance going into labor that far away.
I am really not all that impatient; for the most part I am fairly comfortable. But...I wouldn't mind getting the show on the road. I'd like to avoid the Amnio Ultrasound/NST scheduled for Monday, but I love my midwives so if it is a matter of doing the tests to remain under their care it's not a problem for me.
How is everyone else doing - it's easy for me to say "it's not that bad yet" as I'm not even 41 weeks, but I know some of you mamas have been waiting a lot longer. Are you feeling alright? Holding up under a bombardment of "Where's that baby" inquiries? Labor wishes to everyone!

I'm here still! Well, I actually visited the June DDC the otherday because I realized that emerald will no longer be the birthstone for this baby... pearls are nice too!:

I'm thinking I'll be waiting a few more days - this baby's just not ready!

Waiting, waiting, waiting. I was feeling frustrated yesterday, not so much about going into labor/having the baby but more of a "I was ready...the house was ready, etc." Now the house is all scattered, I've eaten the majority of my labor snacks, rifled through my bags for the hospital...I feel like I will just be taken by surprise whenever this actually does start, and it's hard to relax and wait. On the other hand, I get tired easily whenever I try to do things, so I sit around thinking about the stuff I'd like to be doing. I feel like I'm in a vicious cycle of not being able to distract myself!

I had my baby!!!!
Awesome natural birth I've always wanted - I'll have to post a thread with the birth story - but I'm so glad I just waited and didn't give up!
Little Gabriel was born 6/3/06 at 7:05pm weighing 6lbs 15oz and 20 inches long
Labor contractions started at 2:30pm and we got to the birthing center at 6:40pm and he was born just a few contractions later! Super experience! I'm feeling great and he's just an angel.
