Freestyler- as long as it came within 10 min of taking the test, I'm pretty sure that's a positive. With Caia the line was soooooooo faint the first time. I stared at it for so long trying to tell if there was a line or not. I agree with what someone else said, they rarely if ever show false positives. Oh and no Porc is not a typo, lol and it's not a festival for bad spellers who like bacon either
. It's short for Porcupine- the free state project's mascot. Laid back little creatures who won't bother anyone til they're pissed off-then watch out! It goes with our non-violence yet non-accepting approach.
The festival though wasn't that great though. We brought our dogs since it was a campsite and dogs were allowed. Our dogs are still very young, 1.5 and almost 2 and they'd never been in a situation like that before. Plus if you see that Caia is 7 months old you can tell how much time we've had to train them maybe 3 months. Still they are good dogs (mostly). They kept wanting to play with the other dogs there and would bark once or twice if they saw one and we'd tell them to be quiet and they would. They wern't out of control at all. People we're giving us dirty looks though and someone told us that our dogs were bothering everyone (yet none of the other dogs that barked as well were)
: So I spent the rest of the weekend back at the tent with them and Caia. Funny thing-back at the tent there was a dog barking for a good hour that someone had left just tied up. No one complained about it. Neither of us would go back. We'll stick to our regular get-togethers.
My horse comming up was quite the experience. The guy got lost. um actually he didn't bother to check his messages to take him to the right place after I called and talked to him directly saying that he wasn't going to the same address he had before and I would record a message for him with the new address so he could write it down when he pulled off for a break. (he was driving). and since both me and the woman who runs the barn were out of town this weekend (it was last minute that he said he could bring my horse up) he couldn't call. So he dropped him at a different barn and left them my contact info. I went over to that barn (he said it was 10 min up the road from where my house was, it was a good 40 min- he was in a different state!!!!) and saw my pony finally! Got there and they warned me that he looked like a rescue horse
: He was skinny and his feet were badly neglected even though I've been sending payment every 2 months to get them trimmed. My poor baby! They were apparently only taking care of him when I was comming out every day to check on him
: Now I have to find a trailer to get him the 40 min from barn to barn. I was happy to see him though and Caia LOVED him! She got to "ride" him for a minute (I held her on his back) and she was giggling and pulling his mane (horses have very few nerves at the base of their mane so it doesn't hurt him). I just feel so bad that I didn't have him in a safe place. I haven't been able to trust ANYONE with my horse!! I swear he's been in about 10 different barns and I've only had him for not even 3 years. They either don't feed him or don't clean his stall or I find him in 90 degree weather with no water or shade all damn day. How hard is it to take care of a freakin horse? Espically when it's your job! I can't wait til I have my house built so I can keep him with me. This is why I've always wanted to run a barn, #1 cause I love horses #2 because there are soooo many bad barns out there, I want to give people an option of a place that will truly treat their horse like it should be treated. My poor Bailey- he's so sweet, he didn't deserve any of this. Oh on the plus side since the shipper screwed up he didn't charge me for bringing him out. He was a nice guy even if he was a little spacey lol. And he did drop him at a nice barn.
