Wait! I thought inhousepharmacy.biz (not .com, they changed it) does ship to USA. At least, I saw that on this other post.

Oh dear! That is awful. The FDA and I have a bone to pick...Try googling buy motillium. Pharmacyescrow.com seemed to have some suppliers. Best of luck Mamas. I am praying for you and your breast feeding relationships...

Where are US mommies ordering from currently/recently and how long is it taking? I always got mine through mommies and never had to order...I am thinking I need to order fairly soon though, this baby is due December 16th, but, could likely be a few weeks before that (though I am not planning on needing to take it until a couple weeks after birth either, hopefully).....

On August 30, I ordered a month's supply from inhousepharmacy. Shipping was free & they give discounts for every $50 you spend. I haven't received it yet. Last week, I ordered another month from Canada's bigmountaindrugs. I needed a script to order from Canada & shipping was $10.

I'm hoping I receive them soon, DD is 8 weeks, I've had to supplement since her third day of life using the SNS & I'm just now starting the correct dosage of Dom. My general practitioner put me on Dom 1.5 months ago but he told me to take 10mg 3xaday. angry.gif He is very pro BFing so I assumed that he was prescribing me the correct amount to increase milk supply.

My orders from inhouse pharmacy took a good three weeks to arrive.  What dosage are you planning to take now?  I took 30 mg 3x a day. More Milk Special Blend by Motherlove REALLY helped my supply too. Good luck!

I checked the tracking information and it is in my city, I'm hoping it will arrive today. I'm going to start taking 30mg 3x a day. I've been taking MMSB since LO was a week old, I haven't really noticed a difference. When I finish this bottle, I'm going to try a higher dose of Fenugreek & Goats Rue.

ETA: According to the tracking info, my Dom arrived at the local post office on 9/13 @ 2:46 am and is "scheduled": for delivery. I STILL haven't received it. irked.gif

I order from inhousepharmacy.biz it initially took a month but my second order took a week and then another order took 2 week so its touch and go...

Just want to say that dom has been a lifesaver for my supply, granted I have had to still supplement but not as much as I use too... only downfall has been weight gain for me....

so dom is a big stretch for me, but here i am trying it.....just got mine in the mail today. i ordered from 1drugstoreonline.com, and though they are based in new zealand, my package was sent from thailand. it only took 10 days to get here! and got 1000 tablets at 10 mg each for 140 total, with shipping. not bad, i'd say. let's hope it does a number on me. thumb.gif

I am having a low milk supply with my second child. I had breast enhancement surgery with the incision under the fold. I lost all sensation in my nipples. So I'm assuming I have nerve damage. I am able to breastfeed but once they get around 3 months my supply goes way down. Milk let down for me is stimulated more so mentally than by my baby suckling because of the loss of feeling. Is this a drug that will increase the production and milk let down for me? I need something ASAP because his wet diapers are dwindling and I can tell he's hungry and fussy.

If your supply drops at three months - when, I think, milk production shifts from hormone to supply-and-demand driven - domperidone may help you by boosting prolactin. The standard starting dose (90 mg a day) is worth trying. If your babe is hungry and not gaining in the meantime (kellymom.com has great resources on normal infant growth) I would supplement with donor milk or formula using an at-the-breast supplementer such as a Medela SNS or Lact-Aid so you don't compound the problem with flow preference. I would get your babe to nurse as much as you can and use breast compressions (if that's OK with the implant). You could also pump after feeds to boost your supply. I also wonder if some kind of guided imagery or meditation help you. I know there are audio tracks designed for pumping moms so maybe you could work out a similar routine while nursing and imagining your milk flowing into your babe.

I just pulled out all my breastfeeding supplies (baby is due in December, but, may likely come in November) and I was SO HAPPY!!! My pumps and SNS are still is amazing condition - there was one little piece of the SNS I had thought I lots but I must have found it later on. AND- I have about a month supply of DOM which doesn't expire until March!!! I'm really glad not to have to spend any money on it before I know if I need it - if I end up having to take it I should have enough time to order it then.

Did someone mention weight gain? I am still unsure if my BC or my Dom caused my terrible weight gain when DS2 was a few months old (I had almost lots all the baby weight and then I gained it all back plus some in a really short period of time, despite eating carefully and exercising). I'm not going on BC (I also wonder if this affected my supply...even though its not supposed to) but I hope Dom doesn't make me gain weight, should I need it - I suppose it is worth it though to be able to continue to breastfeed.
