Mainstream people thing slings are some new fancy product that they haven't seen in Babies R Us yet.......
I get soooo many comments like...."I with those were aroud when I was raising my DC". When I tell these ladies they were they nearly fall over the next question is usually "Why don't you see them around more often"?

Makes you go, "Hrrrumph," and wonder why you talk to strangers doesn't it?

My daughter is now 3. I can't recall how many times I have caught her doing a Houdini with the locked and tightened straps on the grocery cart. Including several incidents where I literally caught her just in time to make her do a fantastic gymnastic move onto the ground. (Imagine a dismount off the uneven bars!) It got to the point that I stopped strapping her in and just made sure I was never more than half an arm's length away.

How many times did she untie herself or wriggle out of the wrap or sling? ZERO!
