Does that mean I can officially start bitching I am due in a week. I have had so much pressure and feel so icky today. The thought that I will probably do this for another 2 weeks is scary. I've done it twice before, but would love for this baby to come now.

amen coco4cloth!

my regular midwife wasn't in for my appt yesterday and she called today. i am 3 cm dilated, 80% effaced and still not in labor. she doesn't think i'm going to last to the weekend and wants me to come in tomorrow to see her. i really hope i don't last to the weekend... my due date is sunday. i promise, my ds1 did not have a fork on his head, what's up with this child???? i wanna see him!!!

I am not being checked anymore, I was 2cm at almost 38 weeks. With my last dd I walked around 4 cm for weeks..... I'm assuming this baby will be the same!

Oh I hear you! I am due next week, too, and had such a yucky day--lots of achy joints, sleepy, could hardly do anything. And no signs at all of the baby wanting to come out--still riding high and not even any BHs.
Not too much longer, though--we can do it!!!!! (I'm trying to convince myself, too).

I'll tell ya one thing, my hips don't lie Man, my hips hurt so badly. Rolling over at night is a joke now. I finally got up last night at 3 am and did laundry! At night it takes me 30 min. just to get comfy, once I am comfy I have to pee so the whole cycle starts over:

I know I do. What's up with that. I got up every hour last night: It's almost 11:30 here and I don't even really want to attempt sleep. Plus nothing good is on tv right now Oh and heartburn, not feeling well tonight.

I've decided that excessively aching hips means that labor is just around the corner.
Can anyone with experience back me up?

that's the worse part. i finally get to be home, and all my tv shows are gone so there is nothing to watch. thankfully i made a trip to the library on tuesday so at least i have some decent reading material.

hmmm... my hips have hurt for the last 3 or 4 weeks. it is a very long corner for me... but this is my second so i keep being told that my body is just remembering sooner. well, i don't remember this with my ds....

here's hoping we all get to hold our babies soon and know that all of this is truly worth it.

My hips and lower back have been aching since the baby dropped, I think it's because the weight is lower and putting more of a strain on those areas.
