Can you O 5 days after AF?

AF just ended 5 days ago and today I have eggwhites galore, a high and soft cervix that is open at least 1 cm, and a little pain in my ovary area. I didn't think I could ovulate that soon. Could it be possible???

That is very unlikely (although not impossible!). What might be happening is that your body is gearing up for ovulation but might wait for a better/later time.

I've had several occasions where I got ovulation pain, egg white cm, an ovulation cp position but then my body seemed to change its mind.

Especially as my fertility was coming back after Leigh's birth (well, amost a year and a half later) I had lots of times like that and thought for months that af would soon be back.

A temp change would be a surer sign...

Keep charting and it should make some sense.

If I am about to ovulate my temp should rise within a day or two right? I know that my body is still a little messed up from that depo provera shot I had 9 mos ago.

I'm not sure this answers your question but... I had my last depo shot Nov. 2004 and my body has just recently had normal cycles. I've had regular af since Nov. 2005 but didn't start ovulating until a few months ago. Good luck!!

I have ovulated as early as day 5 of my cycle, but I always had very short cycles before having children (19-21 days), and frequently ovulated on cd 7. Post-baby, my average ovulation is cd 11-14, with longer-than-usual luteal phases (up to 18 days, average around 16).

But yes, it is possible!

It was a false alarm. I'm actually ovulating now, with a raised temp to confirm
