There seem to be a lot of questions and recipe requests sprinkled around the other threads about putting up what you grow. I thought it would be nice to have all that in one place 
The question I can remember seeing (I forget who asked though, sorry) was; is a steam canner the same as a water bath canner? Not really My water bath takes forever to heat up and is very heavy. I only have one, and it takes forever to process tomatoes. Steam canners take less water, and so less time to heat up. Here is a link to the steam canner I would like to get;
