So, I go to pour myself some O's this morning for breakfast, and in the box I find: 3 mega blocks, a whiteboard eraser, a toy screwdriver, and 2 wooden rhythm sticks.

The $64,000 question is: When did he get them in that box without me seeing him do it? The foodstuffs up here in our attic playroom are behind a gated area.....he really MacGyvered that one on me, huh?

Ha...Maybe he stuck them in his pants like my kiddo does!! And now do you want to eat the cereal???

Amazing how resourceful they can be, isn't it? And don't you wonder what part of the brain says, "hey, I've got an idea: let's put this in the cereal"

That's always what gets me, too! At least, though, it's hard to read too much into the cereal thing. But the other day I was straightening the dollhouse, and noticed that there was something stuffed in the little washing machine. I looked more closely -- it was the dollhouse baby! Hmm...good thing we don't have a front-loader in real life...

I gotta say, as maddening as it can be, this is my favorite stage so far with DS -the creativity, the silliness...it's the best!

HA! Just popping over from Nov ... that's pretty funny and the dollhouse too. I caught my DD trying to "sit" on the potty in the dollhouse, it was too funny. It was the little people dollhouse and the toilet lid opens and closes to make flushing noise .... I walked in to see her squatting and about to close the lid to flush it. ..... Haven't gotten the cereal surprise box yet ... reminds me too of a comercial where dad sits down with cereal box and pours out all lego blocks ... and kid is at school with lunch box and open it full of cereal pours milk on it and eats it for lunch at school.

Yes got to love this age and their imaginations!
