Canaola Oil In Compost?

I was cleaning out some of my cupboards and found a really long expired bottle of canola oil (pee-YOO!).

Could this be put in the compost?

Dumb question, but I have to ask.

i wouldn't put that much oil in. might gunk up the works so to speak. you could run a vehicle off of it, though!

Ja, but we got rid of or VW diesel rabbit before we found the specs to convert the engine...
