Yay! Just had my ultrasound appt. and my 12 week appt. They went fabulously! I did not expect the ultrasound to be as clear as it was, I was shocked at how much we could see. I was at first a little dissapointed because the screen at the doctor's office was broken, so we couldn't see what the ultrasound specialist could see, but when she printed out the pictures - wow!
The next day I met with my midwife for my 12 week check-in....and we listened to the heartbeat - what an amazing experience. I truly wished my DH could have been there. The hearbeat was a healthy 160bpm.....the previous day at the ultrasound the hearbeat was 144....we think it increased because I had just had a 2 hour dance rehearsal....the midwife was very happy saying the hearbeat sounded loud, clear and no inconsistencies....
So happy, I celebrated by ordering a few cloth diapers this morning...
