Accumulating babycarriers. I thought I was totally, hopelessly addicted but I currently don't want ANYTHING!!!! I have no wish list. I haven't visited thebabywearer.com in days. I feel free of the monkey on my back!

I just *might* be free of this addiction. In fact...I am thinking about a major stash clearance sale. I have discovered the Ergo and I have to admit I am reaching for it a lot more than the other carriers. It's mainly b/c it is the only carrier where ds is happy for extended periods in a back carry.

Could it be...that I am in remission, LOL?

I thought that too...until I realized I could acquire a custom-made sleeveless summer Amauti (since I got virtually no use out of my brand new winter Amautik this year. I just got the summer one yesterday and it looks like it is going to be great! So I guess I'm still slightly obsessed.

But...frankly, I'm just not using all of my babycarriers very much. Mostly my Ergo, with DD on my back, rarely on my front. And my rebozos - I always use those. Sometime the Podeagi. But all the rest....I was even thinking about selling them - YIKES!!!

I lived in my onbuhimo and ring slings up til a few weeks ago. Before that, I was in the wrap almost exclusively. Now, it's the podeagi and Ergo that float my boat.

I don't dare sell anything off, though. Who knows which way the wind may blow next week?

I think I have 12 carriers...all wraps and MTs and here I am always reaching for the Ergo these days. Maybe b/c it's summer and the idea of being blanketed in another layer of fabric just doesn't appeal? :

I think I'm in the same boat. Though I still head to TBW FSOT board once in a while, I'm not looking to really buy anything else. I actually even sold 2 carriers, a wrap and onbu, that I figured wouldn't get much love.

Phew, I was out of control buying for a few months, but now I've definitely realized I have enough carriers (and can't justify spending the funds). I do love my wraps, but have to say that I like the ease of MTs and slings, and the latter might be a lot cooler for summer. I bought an Ergo for dh and he loves it. I just find it a little big for me.

Finding the right carrier is SUCH a process isn't it? And, then there's the seasonal love.
For cold: I love my KKAFP. No coat needed, just a hat.
For hot: The sling set
For long walks/hikes: Moby Wrap
For holding both Cicely and Joie at the same time: Moby

Of course how many other carriers do I own? :

Ooh, it looks lovely. I have not tried it but the fabrics are gorgeous and it looks like it has good head support.
