Where did everyone go?

Hi! I'm new to the MDC-- I did add my name to the due date list earlier in the year, but haven't added a birth story or anything. Am I missing more recent posts to this group? The last seems to be from April. I'd like to "meet" other new moms, but I'm not sure where to start. Should I be looking in another place, rather than with the due date club? I'm not really sure how MDC works!
I wonder if anyone will even see this post!

hehe...welcome to mdc! this is fairmaiden76 from lj. i just noticed someone had posted here and saw your name, and was like, "hey, i know her!"
i found most people i meet with new babies are in the local forums on here. look under finding your tribe. i'm sure there are more moms from PA that have babies, probably some near you. then maybe you could actually meet someone with a baby and meet them IRL! if ya want. see ya around the boards!

hehe! I've looked at my tribe, but it's PA, NJ and NY, which is GIGANTIC! I wasn't sure where to start!
Maybe I'll post a thread looking for Philly Moms.
