(update post 4) Please tell me this doesn't mean what I think it means...

Ladies,

Last tuesday (the day that af was due) I got a positive on a test (one of the early test ones) and then a couple days later I got a fainter positive but had been drinking a lot of water. Today I took another one (store brand, not as sensitive) and it came out negative and then this evening took another one, ept, and it also came out negative. To me this looks really, really bad... is there any hope?

eta: I've also been feeling pressure on one side where I had an ovarian cyst last year and my chest is sensitive on the left side but I'm not feeling acute pain in the left shoulder...

Please, please please tell me this doesn't mean what I think it means...

Oh, Sweetie, I don't know what the answer is.

Maybe it's possible that the sensitive test picked up what the other tests weren't able to because it's so early. If you can't stand to wait a little longer to POAS, I would say either try again with the sensitive test or go have a blood test.

I'm trying to force my self not tot take another HP test untill I can get a doctors conformation. I thought AF was due on the 30th but might have miscaculated I started testing on Thursday got an extremly faint line I''ve been testing ever since its obsesive and these super faint lines are driving me insane. I got two very positive results from a digial read out and the dollar store test a total negitive. I', forcing myself to wait. I'd try to encourage you to give it a few days and try again..

Update :(

Well, this morning I started spotting but I took one of the digital tests with the whole first morning urine thing and it came out very firmly not pregnant A little later I started feeling more period-like cramps and it looks more like af is starting. I have an appt with my midwife on tuesday and I'll probably end up having a blood test to confirm and probably an ultrasound to rule out ectopic due to the pressure around where I had my cyst last year.



I was so nervous yet happy to be pregnant again, I'm going to miss coming in here with you guys...

Thanks for the hugs guys, I went in to the er with pains and bleeding this morning and a pelvic exam and urine test confirmed I'm not pregnant, so either I got two false positives or miscarried very quickly... we're doing ok, not great but ok, my dh took me out for dinner and then bought me some chocolate (not like I need it but...) and we're going to veg for the evening.

It hurts but if at first you don't suceed try, try, try, try and try again... Hope to see you around in the future and good luck everybody.
