TONS of Pelvic Pressure

Ok, so this is my first baby and he is VERY low and I decided yesterday that I would go for a long walk...well it lasted for 4.5 miles. Since then I have been having so much pressure when I stand up and walk...it doen't go away. : Is that a sign that it is really close or am I going to have to deal with this for a lot longer? Just curious....oh I am also 1c. dialted and my doctor said that he thinks that I will deliver sometime between the 10th and 17th...he doesn't think that I will go to my due date of June 27th. What do you ladies think?

You never know. I really wish doctors wouldn't give dates. I've been having lots of pressure for awhile. Just know that it will happen soon This is my third and with my first 2 my doctor said from 38 weeks on that I would have the baby anyday: I ended up going 41 weeks with both. This time it's so different. I havent' been told any dates, just that baby will come when ready!

Its normal to get a lot of pressure after exercising during the last tri... esp anything that creates a bouncing effect. The baby's head presses on the pelvix floor over and over with each step you take. If you do an activity like jogging, or say, playing basketball (not recommended!) it can get VERY painful. It can also help open up the cervix, so I'm not saying that it doesn't mean the baby will be along soon, just that its perfectly normal to have pain after exercising upright. You can avoid the pain somewhat by doing pelvic tilts before and after walking.

I was told I"d have my first baby early too but he was born on his due date. This one I was also told I'd have early but so far, not! The due date is tomorrow. It's hard not to get frustrated but they'll come out when they're ready. Pressure is pretty normal, I've had tons of it this time.
