Anyone get nausea regularly with their period?

Two months ago I thought I was pregnant when I got nausea around the time my period was supposed to arrive. It happened again last month. I was on the mini-pill the past year and spoke to my doctor, who thought it must be causing this new symptom, so I went off of it. This month I have even worse nausea, and period is not due for another 5 days. Anyone else experience nausea with their cycle on a regular basis?

Do you get it for days and days? I'm on day 5 right now, wake up nauseous in the morning, go to bed nauseous, crackers are my best friend!

I get it a few days after I ovulate until I get my period. Once my period gets here I'm ok. Sometimes are worse than others. It was even worse when I was on the pill, because I was sick the entire cycle and it was much stronger. You could try some of the morning sickness remedies and see if they help: sour things, ginger, I've read b6 might help. I do know sour things help me, those sour altoids are great, but a lemon or orange slice would probably do the same thing.

I too get really sick to my stomach for days before my period is due. I hate it can never tell if its morning sickness or not lol. Once i get period i am fine.

Yup, it's very confusing, especially since I've never had it before two months ago and it gets more intense each month. It feels exactly like the PG symptoms I had with my 2 kiddos. My breasts started to get very sore today too......I have to keep reminding myself this happened the last 2 months and my period will arrive in a few days!

Yes, and I noticed it was much worse after my 2nd pregnancy.

It started for me after 2nd pg too.
It doesn't happen to me every month but it has happened enough times now that I recognize it as probable freaky pms.

Have you had your iron levels checked? I mentioned that I was nauseous a lot, especially around my period, and found out I was pretty badly anemic and my platelet count was really high.

I get nauseous too!

but of course, you could be pregnant too - do you want to be?

This month I've been getting nauseaus and dizzy- both kinda unusual for me. I'd be really surprised if I was pregnant tho - I'm chalking it up to hormones right now!
