where to get exact statistics?

I'm wondering if anyone here knows where I can the exact numbers of diseases in specific counties in Missouri.

There was outbreak of Whooping Cough, which I believe is called Pertussis, in the Fall of 2004 in Ozark County, Missouri. And, I believe all the kids who got (in about 5th-7th grades) had been immunized.

My children were not immunized for it and did not get it--and were around kids at preschool at the pulic school, at ballet, at the convenience store, etc.

I think it would be interesting to know the specific statistics for this event.

I wish I could help, but I haven't been able to acces the Missouri Dept. of Health website in weeks. I'll see if anything comes up on another site though.

public information

It seems like this would be public information--on file for all to see. Anybody know where to look?

Sorry, no help here! Just bumping.

But it is pretty well known that in most epidemics it's the kids that are fully immunized that are sick.

In Buchwald's book, he describes the same scenario with small pox. Vaccines a Business Based On Fear

So, to me it is obvious that vaccines are designed to either cause the illness or cause weakening of the immune system to make it ready for other infections.

I highly suspect that is the main purpose of the flu shot and the Gardasil vaccine.

My friend Jean's ob/gyn made her get a flu shot when she was pregnant, and she's sure she had a miscarriage as a result. Ugh.

I still haven't found those stats. It seems like they'd be public info. I just want to see how many kids got it and if it lists if they had been immunized. I'm pretty sure 100% of them had been.

I know you can locate state information via CDCs MMWR...but other than contact with your county health department (I am sure they could provide you with the information if you called), the only other source that comes to mind for a specific outbreak in a specific county would be the news or possibly if the event was studied something like that...
