Major Decrease In Supply HELP

Ok...here are a few stats:
1. I have PCOS and am diabetic
2 My baby is 4 months old and has been a PERFECT breastfeeder
3. I have been back in school for 2 weeks now but have been pumping regularly and was producing a bunch of milk
4. I am under a huge amount of stress

Ok....so on Friday I started taking Fenugreek, just as a precautionary measure...by Sunday when I went to pump I could barely get any milk. My baby is unsatisfied at the breast, and I am going insane here.

I have Metformin in the cupboard....took 2000mg a day while pregnant, stopped when baby came. I also have Domperidone that I ordered when last baby was born, but it is not expired yet. What should I do???? I cannot handle loosing my milk supply right now....my relationship with my baby is what is holding me together right now.

PLEASE HELP ME!!!!

I'm not familiar with the whole PCOS / metformin issue, I hope someone responds on that. Here's kelly mom on that;

I would definitely try the Domperidone.

and I know you already know this, but please try to find something to relax. Take a nursing vacation if you can, get someone to try to take care of those older babes.

Wow! You have a lot on your plate. A question, do you take medications or insulin for your diabetes? Fenugreek can lower your blood sugar, so be very careful with it.
Domperidone could really help you. Alos, if you can find some stress relief measures (yeah, I know, easy to say, harder to do) stress really inhibits milk flow. If you find a day to take off, just you and your baby, cuddle and nurse all day two if you can and that will help up your supply again.
HUGS to you

I just started taking Metformin. My blood sugars have been higher then I have liked and I don't know if that could also contribute. I started the Dom lastnight, so we will see how that works.
