It's been 7 1/2 years since this body has been pregnant. Do you think your body reverts back to semi-normal with all of these years that have passed? I ask because I swear this feels strangely similar to my first pregnancy. I'm feeling some "growing pains". Strange? Has this happened to you? Am I dreaming this?

This book feels good in your hands. The paper is heavyweight, and the illustrations flow perfectly.

Are you talking about the stretching type pains down by your uterus? Round ligiment pains? If so no matter how close or far apart my pregnancies have been I always get them! It's worse when I stand up quickly though.

I had my first two babies six years apart, so just over five years between pregnancies. The pregnancies were practically identical in the beginning, from the uterine cramping and stretching through to morning sickness.
However, this pregnancy came three years after our second child was born and it's also fairly similar. Everything is happening faster, though. I don't think the time between pregnancies matters quite as much as what your body has planned for you.

Most of mine have been 3 years apart with a 4 1/2 year gap sprinkled in the middle. I do remember the 4 1/2 year gap baby being like a first baby all over again. Not so much physical pregnancy symptoms, but more so mentally.. things like wondering is this normal? I couldn't remember as easily what it was like the times before, and then once she was born it really felt like we were having our first not our 3rd.
Now, it's only been a little over a year since I gave birth, so everything with this pregnancy is pretty much fresh in my mind from pregnancy symptoms to newborn care. In a way it's really nice, because I feel really laid back and go with the flow knowing this nausea shall eventually pass... But, on the other hand my last labor is still pretty fresh in my mind too, and it doesn't seem like it's quite time to be repeating the process already. I'll have to work through that before d-day!

I had a client whose babies were born almost exactly eight years apart. She said her pregnancy was pretty much the same- her birth was the exact same. She was fine.
