Help,
I've been CD'ing my 5 month old boy for 3 or 4 months now, and have had the occasional diaper rash (red with bumps), but over the last 2-3 weeks it's been horrible! It is very red, but doesn't have bumps, and isn't on his bottom, it's above his penis, like very lower abdomen. It's so sad when I change him, he reaches down and aggresively grabs his skin and cries. I haven't changed my wash routine except I've tried liquid Calgon once or twice, but didn't get any suds, so I don't think there was build up. I'm content CDing, but sometimes tempted to go to sposies for a while to see if it helps.
Could it be a new food allergy? We've started rice cereal, yams, and pears
