Please someone answer me ,,...a bunch of people read my thread in another forum and NO ONE answered

I know that some people use them for Mama Pads, but a lot of people say that isn't the greatest idea b/c it holds the moisture against the body. But... if you chose to do that, you use it for the layer against your panties to keep it from staining your panties. Other than that, I don't know of any uses for the scraps! I'll definately be watching for other people's ideas!

You can piece PUL to make two-color covers. I've seen other mamas do this and seal the seam by ironing a separate strip of PUL over the seam. You can use them for appliques. Those two ideas and the mama pads are all I can think of.

If your useing snaps and not hiding the pul some mamma use the scraps to reinforce the snap area. I don't use pul so I really wouldn't know what else you could do with them.

You can back nursing pads with the scraps too, to make more waterproof pads.

I had a ton of scraps a long time ago that I listed on the TP free-for-shipping and was able to send them to someone who would use them. So, if you don't figure out a good use for them, don't throw them away. There's probably someone who would love to have them.

If they are too small for pads, I splice the pieces together to make something big enough to work with. Right now, I'm working on a red and white wet bag made from 3" squares of pul. I use small strips of suedecloth (also leftover scraps ) to back up the seam and keep the pul from bunching when I sew it.

It's a lot of work, but I really hate to see anything go to waste, especially material as expensive as pul. And I feel so wonderfully frugal after all that work.

How would iron them together..wouldnt the PUL melt

I use them for mama pads - I don't mind using PUL although I know some mamas don't like it. I also use it to back my appliques so they don't wick. You could make doll dipes too - it wouldn't matter if you had to sew a few together to get a piece big enough.

I have never used pul but have iron things that could potentially melt. I myself use a press cloth inbetween the iron and the fabric. Cheap presscloth, use a prefold
