There weren't any 6-6-06 babies?!!

Man!!!!
I was so looking forward to babies being born yesterday! Actually, I thought it would be me. I've been having contractions for about 42 hours at this point. (On top of my 3 weeks of prodromal labor.)

Maybe someone had their baby and just hasn't posted yet? We've just gotta have some 6-6-06ers!

There's got to be at least one since someone here was having a scheduled c-section yesterday.

You probably wont know for a couple days, most people stay at least 24 hours for vag and 3-5 days for a c/s.

Oh yeah, I forgot about the c/s! That's so awesome she scheduled it for that day. I never even thought about hosp stays for vag births.

I'm a nieve geek.

I just get too excited. :

I said something to my husband, and he said "Who cares if the baby's birthday shows the number 6,606?? What is so special about that number?"

He's right...is is not technically 666....leave it to a cop to be right on specifics!!

Oh I know, I don't think the day has any significance in itself, I think all the hype is just paranoia... but I do think its super cool how its all the same (even) number... I just like numbers, even ones that is!

I thought for sure I would and then I'd never hear the end of it from my stupid in laws who like to find ANY thing they can piss me off with.

But no...still here...swollen feet and all. No devil child for me!

I so was hoping I'd go yesterday (I'm hoping for any moment ... by the 10 week u/s, I'm techincally 3 days late, though my mw said I'm just on time). My mom thought it would be cool because the baby would probably have a somewhat unique birthday. Oh well, maybe he/she will make her/his appearance tonight instead. Where's those praying hands when you need them?!

Sorry, can't help, as posted separately, DD came 2 days early. Very much to the enjoyment of her mother, since I like a) Sundays and b) even numbers.

funny thing, i've had contractions all week (and back again today) and yet, absolutely nothing yesterday. wasn't meant to be....

I Did!

I gave birth on 06-06-06! To my 6th baby, lol!

My DD Sara was born at 8:05 am after over 26 hours of labor. She was my longest labor ever. She was just taking her time. She weighed in at 6lbs 13ounces 20 inches long....my smallest baby too. She is a full 2 pounds smaller than my son born last year. She looks like a little doll.....

I'll be posting a birth story eventually....

Jumping in from July DDC: Congrats Mama! For a moment I as waiting to here she was 6lbs. 6oz.!! That would have been too weird! Anyway enjoy your new bundle of joy and can't wait to read your birth story!
