I haven't tried the vb one yet. I have the DD (although haven't made it yet) but it looks awesome and so versitle. Can't wait to make one tonight after we get more printer ink.

I reaaaaaaaaaaally like the DD patterns - I have three different ones actually. But for a novice sewer, the instructions are great! Especially the pics! And Amber is always willing to answer questions too.

The DD is easy, but I like the look, fit and style of the VB - either way is not complicated, but the pictures on the DD make it great for beginners.

DD for sure. I haven't tried the VB pattern (though I do have their cover pattern) but the DD is more than enough for me. I've found it so easy to make and to tweak to make any type of diaper I want. You won't regret it and the shipping is fast since it's a pdf document that Amber emails to you.

I love my DD pattern. It's so easy and my dipes look professional.

I like both I'm using the VB AIO pattern though to start with NB dipes. It's very easy and the dipes look great. www.sewdiapers.com has TONS of modifications for the VB patterns, you can do pretty much anything with them.

I would vote the DD pattern. I hadn't sewed much before and it is really easy to follow and if you have questions Amber will help you out!

I MUCH prefer the DD AIO (side-aplix or side-snapping version) for my daughter. She is also long and lean and in general I get much better fit from a side-snapping dipe (especially) because I can customize the fit around the legs and the waist separately.

With the VB AIOs, to get it tight enough around the legs it was always too tight around the waist.

Plus, the DD AIO pattern INCLUDES separate pattern pieces for side-closure and front-closure. The directions are easy to follow and the pictures are GREAT. I also like the DD pocket fitted, and the DD boutique bibs patterns.

The DD pattern is less expensive, and you do not have to pay any shipping for it. Also, Amber has it listed in her hyenacart for less than she has it listed on her main web site.

Also, you don't have to wait on the pattern to arrive in the mail... Amber emails it to you within 24 hours of payment.
