need some sunshine!

It's been raining here for what seems like weeks . Well, I guess there are a few days of beautiful sunshine, but they are few and far in between. I find these rainy days to be so dark (literally) and long. I feel like we're stuck in the house and it gets so boring, sometimes a little lonely, too.

It's June, for crying out loud, where is the sun???!! We need to be outside! Swinging in the hammock, watching the progress in the garden... We need the rain to finish for now (we've already gotten all the rain we normally do in June in one weekend!).

Sorry, just needed to vent .

i miss kayaking when it rains like this..its the perfect time to get into the rivers that dont normally run well....oh well...i dont think Kayaking with a 5 month old would be prudent!

You're welcome to some of ours. Every time I walk out the door it's like stepping into an oven.

At my house! It's been 100+ for a couple weeks now. The only break was the dust storm the other day. See the Devil Dust cloud progress at 15 second intervals (it was on 6/6/06)

I know I've been away from home too long when I get jealous of gloomy days elsewhere!
