Could you tell my husband that? He keeps thinking that Chloe is too COMMON. Common? I don't think so!!

Plus, if we choose Alexa Rose, the poor thing's initials will be ARF!! I'll never be able to forgive myself.

We're kind of having the same problem with the T names - we have a daughter named Taylor, so if we have a boy and name it Trevor, is that totally dorky? OH, the decisions to make!!!

We started off naming all our children after family members but we are running out of family members that we would be OK naming our children after.

So far my childrens names are:
Karolyn Marie named after all my grandmother's dolls when she was a little girl. My grandfather didn't like Marie so they named their first dd Karolyn Sue.

Kristin Elaine named after dh (Chris) and his mother Elena.

Katie Lyn, she just looked like a Katie and my sister's middle name is Lyn

Chris IV no explaination needed, though we do call him Little man

Elsa Ann after my 2 sils. One of my SILs was born at home, her name is Elsa, this was my first homebirth so we gave her the same name. My other SIL was there and to prevent hurt feelings we gave her the same middle name as my other SIL

Rocco Drake, my dh had an uncle whom he was close with and died at a young age, his name was Roque. We liked the name Draco from Harry Potter, but Rocco Draco was kinda silly sounding.

Emma Leigh, no family name. We liked Emma and Emily so we got a little of both. I sometimes wish we would have done Emmaleigh and a middle name.

OK all that novel just to say...

I don't have a CLUE!! lol

Speaking of initials. My uncle's initials are R.A.W. which was totally cool when he was racing a car. He had RAW Racing all over his car. Now his son is into dirty bike racing and he has the same intials as his dad so RAW racing is back.

My dd's intials are K.E.G.

If it's a boy, his name will be Jasper Matthew.

If it's a girl, I don't know. I've loved Katherine nn Kate for 9 years but it just doesn't feel right. I'm thinking of Isabel. It's entirely possible I'll take the two names and figure out which one she looks like.

I'm a name geek. I love name. The fact that I don't know what to name a daughter bothers me, lol. Either that, or it's a boy!

Ok, we were set with names but looking at everyone elses ideas makes it hard. There are so many great names out there. Anyway it will probable be:

David Stirling
Kasey Elizabeth

I wanted to add that I understand not wanting CC for a nickname. I dread the day I hear someone call my dd JJ.

Aidan could definitely be a girl name!

Well these are my names so far but I have not passed these by dh this time around and last time he said he didn't like my girl name. I haven't brought it up because he can be so difficult when it comes to this!!

Girl: Meridian Lore

Boy: Leif Edan

ugh. maybe maeve for a girl, ds' first name starts with m so i wonder if that's weird. dh and i are both r but ruan was one of the names on our shortlist last time -- for a boy. i don't think i could do an r name for the baby because then ds would feel left out. or maybe not...

OK if it is a girl
Emma Lyn or Emma Lynne
my DD is Maya, we will use the same Chinese character for Ma, it means love, and the ya in Maya is from the city where we met, and the E will be from the other character from the city we met. Love Field and Endless Love.

boy
Yohei no middle name picked out yet
Yo is western and Hei is peace, not the greatest sounding in English... but my DH loves the name...

Isn't one of the characters on CSI NY Aiden? The tall dark hair lady?

We have just barely started thinking of names.
Boy - Matthew John - our fathers' middle names - not set in stone yet.
Girl - not sure yet but I want to try to maybe have Mae as the middle name.
