Who's already had a good cry this morning for no reason: I am a crabby mommy today which then makes me feel so badly for my children. I'm so ready for this birth to happen. My dh is driving me crazy too. I know he's joking but he keeps asking me when I'm going to share the baby.: Anyone care to vent with me?

Yesterday I was watching Starting Over and there was a woman who'd lost her mom on 9-11. She was doing a scripted sort of "play" with another woman who was pretending to be her mother, to deal with her feelings of being abandoned by her. Well anyway, my mom and I have serious issues and it got to me. I had to grab a kleenex, go into the kitchen and hide in the corner to cry. Actually... that's deffinately not the first time I've had to hide from dd to cry. Usually I'll let her see me cry, if its for rational reasons I can explain! I also have to really strain to cry silently at night so I don't wake up dh, I can really get out of control at night when my mind gets the best of me.

I had a good cry in the shower the other day, for NO REASON AT ALL. Just started bawling until I was on the floor of the bath. I figured it was best to have that kind of emotional release before the babe is born, right?

As for the impatient people who won't leave us alone: enough already! It is bad enough that my mom and MIL call daily, but my freaking EX called yesterday to check! Sheesh!!!

Im an emotional wreck too!! My patience or the little that I had, has gone away and the girls can really get to me! Plus Im hot and miserable! I broke down crying when the sent me home from the hospital on Wed. not in labor....my poor dh is so walking on eggshells. I know he wants this baby to come as much as I do. I caught him ordering a Superman bunting costume for the baby. LOL!!!!

oh, yes, I have my times, too. I can be crabby with dd, and I feel so bad because she's such a good kid. I also cry easier, way easier, at the drop of a dime if I feel hurt or sensitive about something.

Oh yep , super emotional over here! I can usually hold it together until DH comes home but then it's like it all comes out -- I get impatient with DS, I feel like crying about nothing, etc. Yesterday I was really emotional and I started wondering... do you think it has to do with the change in hormones as you get close to birth? Doesn't the placenta quit producing the same amount of hormones? I'm 40wks 5 days along... I keep wondering if maybe the changes in my body are causing this flood of emotions! I know it's normal, too, as you get closer to labor.
