Ok, I don't have a pic yet, it's lanolizing right now. It turned out ok! I did it from scratch, and used a vintage wool jersey dress. It is only the second diaper type sewing project I have done. I used crappy velcro, but I haven't got my diaper fabric/notion order yet, and I was itchin' to make a cover. Anyway-yippie!!!!

Recycled Wool Jersey Cover. Two layers plus extra layer in wetting area for night.

Cool. Can't wait to see it. I used velcro from wal-mart for most of my first dipes and right now I wash daily because my stash isn't finished yet and the velcro is holding up fine. Granted it's more expensive than what you pay for touch tape and you have more of the hook than you need, but in a pinch I think it's fine. Great job, isn't it addicting?

So cute!
What is wool jersey? Does it have stretch to it?

Thanks mamas! It is a bit stretchy, yes. I have never sewn on anything stretch, but it wasn't hard! I got a bunch of free dresses, but only a few were wool. I have plenty of polyester to use for outer layers and practice though!
