Baby Liliana Faith was born on June 2nd at 5:46 am. She weighed 7 lbs, 10 oz and is 20 1/4 in long. She was born at home, in the pool and was caught by her daddy (who refers to her as 'cannonball' because of how quickly she came out). She has dark hair and blue eyes, just like her brother and sisters and is nursing well.
After weeks of on and off labor and the constant itching of PUPPPS, I had my membranes stripped at my OB appt. (I was 3 cm and 80%). I knew she had to come out for the itching to stop and I was no longer sleeping at night, but sitting up scratching. As soon as I had them stripped I was achy and crampy and remained that way until labor officially began later that day at about 5:30 pm. It was a longer and harder labor than the one previous, but overall, a good experience. I only regret having my membranes stripped. I think she had a positional issue she still needed to work out that would have made my labor easier had I waited, but what can I do about it now?
Eagerly reading about all of the new arrivals!
