question for astrologers in the group

It is so exciting to see all these June babies being born--but so hard to feel so far down on the list--so I am going to ask an off-topic question to take my mind off my due date:

How does induction/planned c-sections affect the astrological/personality outcome of a child? Can you influence the character of a child by *choosing* its birthdate?

Just curious...

This is totally but I just wanted to say that my good friend says my baby will come on the 13th as well!

Here's to hoping! :

I've often wondered this as well. I think that several things come into play when it comes to personality though, the biggest thing being who that person is as a spirit. But I deffinately think astrology plays a big roll. I also think the child's name shapes their personality. If you haven't read this book, you gotta, its awesome! Then, of course, there are also hereditary/genetic factors as well as environmental/social.

One thing I know for sure though, is that when we go against nature things don't come out quite right. I do really feel that induction robs a child of SOMETHING. I think we're all destined to come into the world at an exact moment in time... unfortunately the free will of those of us who are already here can hinder that. Induction/planned c-section just feel all wrong to me. OTOH, if it is to save a life, its certainly worth it!

Actually, there are a couple of theories about this.

One is that there are so many subtle sign influences (15+) that you couldn't possibly track it anyways.

Another is that the length of gestation has little influence, it is literally when the baby leaves the mother that the signs take over...

Still another says that the signs are fixed at conception and influence as per the due date, regardless.

I, personally think it is a combination of all of these. I also believe that the signs you are born under are like a blueprint for your personality and can give plenty of insight to how you work, but your parents/gardians, environment and culture do play a not insignificant role.

I know that this probably doesn't help a lot... :
